Instituciones informales, problemas sociales y desarrollo económico y social en comunidades indígenas

Abstract

El artículo tiene como objetivo describir la relación entre desarrollo endógeno, instituciones informales y el bienestar social de las comunidades indígenas en el occidente colombiano, utilizando como referente la comunidad Emberá Chamí. La metodología usada es cuantitativa - cualitativa a través de censo, entrevistas y la comparación de las 5 dimensiones de la cultura estudiadas por Geert Hofstede, a fin de proponer estrategias que permitan afrontar los retos que presenta el desarrollo endógeno.

The article aims to describe the relationship between endogenous development, informal institutions and the social well-being of indigenous communities in western Colombia, using the Emberá Chamít community as a reference. The methodology used is quantitative - qualitative through census, interviews and the comparison of the 5 dimensions of culture studied by Geert Hofstede, in order to propose strategies that allow facing the challenges presented by the endogenous development of the community.
